The knight

The enchantress waited for the gallant, the Knight
Her little canoe, danced in the undulating waves
Across the valley, through the long meadow he came
Riding his white horse,he was so charmig in his robes!

The enchantress sat invisible in the canoe,
she knew the knight will come to cross the river
He was on his way to meet his sweetheart, the daughter
Of the rich merchant living in the big mansion
The moonstruck fairies wandered here and there,
Soothing breeze, fragrant with the night blooms
The gallant came near the canoe, tied his horse
Patted him with love to be there waiting for the master
The horse saw the enchantress, pined to warn his master
Stood restless, his heart throbbed for beloved master
Who walked to the canoe with a smile on his lips
With all his might the horse jumped to break the rope
The knight followed his horse running fast
Her eyes ablazed with anger and she let out
The fierce hurricane to stop the Knight from going far away
The horse stopped not but paused for a while
For his master to climb to his back
Defeated the blowing storm he reached safely
The moonlit courtyard of his master
with the fragrantflowers in creepers.
